Grassfield Member Pat Redig to receive UMN Outstanding Achievement Award

Amazing News! Dr. Rebecca Cunningham, University of MN President, has accepted the recommendation by the All-University Honors Committee (based on a nomination from Dr. Julia Ponder, TRC’s second executive director) to bestow Dr. Pat Redig, The Raptor Center’s cofounder and director emeritus, with the prestigious University of Minnesota Outstanding Achievement Award. This award is given to a previous UMN student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement and leadership on a community, state, national, or international level, attaining distinction in their field or profession; the very description of Dr. Redig’s legacy. I believe this award will be presented to Dr. Redig at the Dean’s Circle Event in May.
