To celebrate the region’s contributions to aviation and aerospace and equip a
new generation with the dreams and skills needed for the future, AirSpace
Minnesota has invited three extraordinary people to the Twin Cities:

· Dr. Buzz Aldrin (first moon landing) – NASA astronaut, USAF pilot,
author & exploration advocate

· Dr. Harrison “Jack” Schmitt (last moon landing) – NASA astronaut,
geologist, U.S. Senator, professor & author

· Dr. Karen Nyberg (recently returned from the International Space
Station) – Current NASA astronaut from Minnesota

These iconic role models will illuminate the legacy and rally us to help a new
generation go boldly.

Go Boldly Challenge – Nomination Deadline: Wednesday, April 9
Shine a light on individuals and teams of all ages who have been inspired by
flight to gain skills to pursue their dreams. Go to www.airspacemn.org
to nominate someone. First 50 nominees receive aviators and t-shirts. Selected
honorees will receive $100 National Camera Exchange gift cards and onstage
recognition at the April 26 Go Boldly Expo.

Founding Flyers Gala – Friday, April 25 – Golden Wings Flying Museum, Anoka
County – Blaine Airport
The renowned Museum of Flight in Seattle has selected AirSpace Minnesota to be
first in the nation to re-create their innovative Aviation Learning Center. Help
fund this important education initiative while enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime

Go Boldly Expo – Saturday, April 26 – Downtown St. Paul Airport
This free public event will feature presentations by Dr. Aldrin, Dr. Schmitt and
Dr. Nyberg. A STEM career showcase, book signings, autographs and more will
provide an unforgettable experience with inspiration for all ages. For a free
