Our mission is to promote model aircraft aviation within the community and we welcome all who share our interest. The FAA has granted us <strong>FRIA<\/strong> status allowing members to fly at our site and avoid transponder regulations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: large;\">Grassfield RC Club offers radio controlled flying to suit any interest. Q500 racing, competition Fun-Fly, Combat, Fun Scale as well as everyday Sport flying. For beginning flyers or persons interested in learning to fly, we have Tuesday Night Training. Fly with experienced instructors and learn to fly, using club provided equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: large;\">Almost any day of the week you will find members flying many different types of plane from trainers, replica military planes, finely crafted expertly built scale models, to large aerobatic planes and real turbine jets. A number of our members also fly helicopters. We encourage scale, sport, 3D aerobatic and just old fun flying.
